Journaling June - Day 5
Journaling June
Day 5 *[I came across this video in the evening] I can only hope O'Connel [sic] was being sarcastic in the clips Tim Pool shared, because in that context he's actually quite funny, but if not... well it's also funny I suppose. I don't actually know him outside of Sliders to have a clue. Anyway, last night I was sleeping in my tent and I began to drift awake in the early hours of the morning. I was experiencing something from the dream realm while trying to peep through half-closed eyes, you know when you squint them mostly shut. It was like I was still half in the realm from which I was returning from, and back in my tent. I could see the walls of my tent overlaid with whatever was going on in the other realm. And in that other realm I seemed to be in some sort of "brain-washing" situation akin to some movies where they force the victim to watch rapidly changing scenes on a screen, or black and white optical illusion-like patterns, there was a lot of that spinning around. That's where I was returning from. It was like I was trying to be sneaky and half-stay in that situation I'd found myself, while becoming aware of the my tent that my body was in. Whoever was there with me in that place was becoming aware of my drifting attention and trying to retain me. I too tried to keep up this experience of being half-in-and-out of these two realms, and I managed to for quite a while before I lost my grip and one drifted awake enough I reached for my phone to tap in a few words and phrases to jog my memory the next day, lest I forget it all once I fall back to sleep. It was 1am/1:30am. Anyway, I woke proper around 7am and felt quite refreshed.
As an update to yesterday's ebay
antics, the person who'd sent me The
Wrong And also, after politely contacting the seller regarding the few unmentioned blemishes I'd found on the Dell Dock that guy refunded me. I got a nice message back too. I wasn't expecting this really although I have experienced it before when just trying to let a seller know about some issues, rather than being so unhappy. The seller told me he'd actually used the dock for a long time with a Dell Inspiron 8600, and I thought that is nice to know and to have a little item history and know something has come from the actual previous owner. I've had similar communication before when sellers are just happy that their item is going to a new home where an item will be enjoyed some more... rather than just being sold on! I think that was the case with a computer I'd got for £1+postage a few weeks ago; I'd thanked them for packaging it so well, mainly because it was being sold so cheap and was already cosmetically rough. They got back to me, being hopeful it would serve me well because they had done all of the updates and renewed the thermal paste on the CPU... aww. I've actually transplanted that computer into a better case and swapped the hard drive(s) for an SSD; I'm still trying to think how to tackle "the cosmetics" of that original computer case as it basically has no front panel - I was thinking of cutting one out of a sheet of plywood. LGR would approve of the wood grain. It'll just be tricky to position the drive bays and power button precisely. Today, being set to be another "last sunny day for a while" according to the weather forecast I... well I was up too late for wanting to go for a jog so I first did a short round of yoga stretches, and then rode round my bike round the block - no items to post today. Back at home I was enjoying my mid-morning cup of coffee, albeit at my computer while I had a quick scroll on ebay and chatted with a friend, when I had some news come in. Last night, as I am now reminded, I heard fire engines sounding as they travelled along a nearby road. This went on for a while so I guessed at the time there must be something occurring nearby (where I live is pretty quiet so it's rare to hear emergency services). Anyway, the news I got was from my mum saying that someone we, and many people know had a fire at their property. Everyone is ok apparently, but they lost some vehicles; I'd heard the guy had collected a few and he'd told me he also had a Ford Capri stashed away when I turned up at his shop shortly after I'd got mine. I'm guessing that's gone up with the others. As I typed this I intended to take the opportunity to order another replacement quick release battery connector for my car as the one that came with the car broke, as did the one I replaced it with due to the crap material they're now made out of, but the ones I now found, while different seem to be just as rubbish:
Anyway, I going to get back into the routine of keeping my car's battery disconnected when it's parked in my garage which is basically inside my house; while helping to save it from the elements, this does come with its risks. Since I run my house off my Power Oak via solar panels in the summer I'm in the routine of shutting that down in the evening, so my house actually has no electricity flowing through it at night, and even then I'm used to switching all sockets off when not in use because I realised, when I got the Power Oak, just how easy it is to accidentally leave something plugged in in a room somewhere and quietly drain electricity away (the Power Oak can pretty much show me if anything is consuming a noticeable standby voltage). Anyway, with it being the last dry day for a while I fetched the tent in and got on with some clearing outside. I did this whilst listening to a podcast/interview about someone who has researched and written a book about chemtrails. Tbh, the interview was pretty poor; perhaps both parties were to blame for this. Kim didn't seem to have prepared any meaningful questions for the guest (Peter Kirby is a Award-winning world-renowned researcher and "Author of Chemtrails Exposed: A New Manhattan Project) and part the way through resorted to asking Google about the topic and then posed this to Peter, who seemed to have given up and resorted to "read the book". This was frustrating to me because one point he raised was that electromagnetic frequencies are used in conjunction with whatever is supposedly coming out of the planes. No explanation was given to how this is being done, or really what effect it's having on us. He said the pilots of those planes were also to blame, but then if they're just given a plane to fly passengers in, how is that any different to us putting fuel in our cars and driving around? That fuel could have stuff put in it that doesn't need to be there, that we don't know about, in addition to what we do know about that is supposedly harmful to breath in.
So, with the weather not looking great for the coming days (not in any way related), I intend to focus on some indoor jobs, such as tidying my kitchen. I was tempted to share some pictures of the state of things, but I'll avoid. I'm just bad at cluttering up every available surface; I'm on top of the washing up though, certainly today because there was an excess of electricity flowing into the Power Oak from the solar panels for me to boil water with. |
