Journaling June - Day 29-30
30th June 2026

Journaling June Day 29-30
---------------------------
Yesterday was one of the best this year for solar production; any day that I can generate over 2kwh from my 800W array is a good one as it's more than I need.

Since ownership of the setup I've perhaps once seen generation as high as 4.75kwh in a day. It's not just about pure sunshine on the panels, because in the summer months that would mean the panels would get hot and lose efficiency, but some passing clouds or a cool breeze help to keep the panels cool.

My morning errands today involved posting an ebay item and trying, yet again, to get a paying-in envelope to enable me to deposit a cheque. I've tried three times now and twice at the same shop, and each time they've had none available. Annoying. So I thought I'd log into my bank account and get in touch with the bank to ask them to send me some of the elusive envelopes, only for the 'Contact Us' button not to work. Yeah, I bet that's not a glitch.

Speaking of ebay, the buyer of the printer I recently sold left me 'positive' feedback, even though they mentioned that the printer arrived damaged and not printing well; fortunately they were able to resolve the issues and were still happy with their purchase.

And here lies the end of June. I don't think I've really knuckled down with all of the things I thought I might have, so I'll be changing tack for July and more quietly focussing on one key thing each day. We'll see how that goes!
