Journaling June - Day 25-28
28th June 2026

Journaling June Day 25-28
---------------------------
I'm not sure where the past few days went. One moment it was Day 25 and I ended up not completing what I was putting together for that day, so I was inevitably going to combine that into two days, and I put off doing that, and now here we are on Day 28.

I had some more Flightradar things to put together and I was trying to McGyvor together some tables nestled in tables in FrontPage, but a couple of attempts later and it's still not playing right:

I also ended up sorting out my stock of stuff I have listed on ebay because I was starting to feel like I had some things listed that I didn't know where they were, and some things that were in my stock draw but weren't listed. I now have a spreadsheet listing all my listings and telling me where those items are located... provided I keep it updated. Now I can stop procrastinating and start listing more things without feeling like I'm adding to the chaos.

Also, I went ahead and ordered all of the things I need to sort the brakes out on my car; that got quite stressful as I needed to understand brake pipe fixings and flare types (and I was getting conflicting information), all while trying to shop around for the best deal on things. I think it's going to be quite the headache navigating the underside of my car with pipework.

I'm still procrastinating about bodywork and feel like I might just patch up areas with fibreglass temporarily before I go down the route of flux core welders, and having to source some sheet metal and get into cutting and bending that stuff. I think that's going to need me to get into the right head-space to do all that side of things, and first I need to be in "brakes" headspace.

Back to ebay, and they never got back to me about their systems flagging my "electric scooter saddle" as supposedly containing a large battery. And speaking of buggy platforms, I had to contact Memrise as it keeps encountering an error when I try to do a Review session in German, which buggered up my 60-day streak. I'm still waiting to hear back from them. I encountered a problem once before and that was resolved pretty quick. Not that I expect much from them since I'm a free loader on their platform, not willing to shell out £75 for lifetime membership.

Oh, and I did get out for a run this morning; I was intending to run the five miles but ended walking the first half of it as it just felt like a nice calm morning out.
