Back in 2020 I purchased an Apeman Wildlife/Trail camera (H65). I mostly set it up outside in my garden at night and let it record whatever creatures pass it, triggered by its motion detection and recorded with the night-vision camera. My H65 can take up to 8 x AA batteries although only 4 are required for operation with the battery compartment having an upper and lower section. This is quite handy for charging four batteries at a time in my standalone charger whilst keeping the camera operational with a second set. The H65 creates a partition of 24GB so SD cards above 32GB in capacity will have a lot of wasted space. There is a label within the unit urging the user to format the card within the camera; I have had times where the camera reports an issue with the SD card after I've removed it to manage the captures on a computer; a couple of rounds of formatting within the camera seems to be the way to resolve this. Every so often I have edited a video together into episodes called "Creatures of the Night", or more recently one of some birds nesting in the roof of my house. Here are those videos (latest at the top): |
