Day 16,
This might be cheating somewhat, but for 2021's calendar I released a reading of A Christmas Tree by Charles Dickens. This was released in three parts, across three weekends, and uploaded to SoundCloud. Once completed I uploaded it to Youtube, but that has been removed under the guise of 'terrorist content'... I have now uploaded it to Rumble (although they are presently taking their time to process it).

Incidentally, Rumble went down on Tuesday, supposedly due to the upload of camera footage of "January 6th" - (I'm not all that clued-up on this event), and Rumble went down again earlier today. I wonder if it was related.

Besides reminiscing over this song, I have pretty much not watched anything on YouTube for a whole week.

In other news, it is with great sadness that I have to announce a death...

My faithful mug of some 8+ years (right) decided to engage in a process of self-disassembly shortly after I'd poured boiling water into it. Just two days ago I had enjoyed hot chocolate from it. Being of heat-treated glass, and therefore transparent, it was ideal for boiling milk in it in the microwave (as one could see when the milk was about to boil over). This mug had lead an adventurous life, some years ago it and another glass mug of mine was abducted by some builders and taken for a ride in the back of their van, only to be returned safely the next day, albeit with some scuffs. While good for instant coffee, it was always too tall for my coffee machine, but is there any such thing as the perfect mug? May you rest in pieces...
