Day 19, I thought I'd mentioned this previously, but
during the high winds a couple of weeks ago (my internet is
still having issues), my 'bird feeder holder stand' that
typically featured on the Webcam during the summer months,
finally met its end.

I'd constructed this years ago from wood left over when I had
roof work done - the roofers had actually broken the original
bird feeder holder when they were chucking stuff down from the
roof (original below):

The one I built had been blown over many times over the
years, and broken many-a-bird-feeder in the process. I'd weighed
the base down with a lump of rock and a brick but now the base
was too rotten and it disintegrated... so it was time to rebuild
the base:

I didn't completely rebuild it as the upright
was still sturdy, and it surely won't last as long as the
original, and it's now a few inches shorter, but the birds are
happy enough.
