On this day last year I took myself out for a cooked breakfast, but this year I made it myself [I chose against photographing it for you, sorry/not sorry], after having been out on my bike for an hour+. I saw some more of the wind-damage my area suffered last weekend when my internet got buggered; I really got off lightly; while it's not uncommon to have an 80mph wind here at this time of year, I've seen fences damaged, heard of and seen trees uprooted (my mum's neighbour's property has suffered some damage apparently, and a large tree today I saw had fallen and clipped the corner of a static caravan/mobile home - if there was anyone sleeping in there at the time, they were lucky, one meter to the right and that thing would look like a crumpled tin can), and people without power for 24+ hours.

Anyway, I'm currently enjoying some coffee before visiting my neighbours for a workout, and they're then going to cook a meal for me... how nice!

Sorry, I have little more to add today. I had intended to get this uploaded earlier, along with yesterday's day which I'd gotten behind on, but tomorrow's will be uploaded somewhat late in the day too, and I'm not sure what to do yet for that either...

In other news I bought a graphics card off ebay and a replacement mainboard for the Mac Pro I'm working on (the 6 capacitors I'm trying to replace in the power supply are being difficult), but I've had issues with both, but the good news is that both sellers promptly refunded me \o/

Maybe tomorrow I'll present an Einstein@home update, a Mac Pro update, or a "PSU repairs" update...
